Privacy policy

1. Who we are
Dominik Wawrzonek, Krakowska 57B/9, 36-100 Kolbuszowa, Poland, tax ID (NIP) 8141694492 ("Le Clair", "we") is the controller of the personal data processed through the Le Clair app and website.
Contact: support@leclair.pl.
2. What data we process
Account data: your email address, sign-in method, account identifier and, if you sign in with Google, your name and profile photo.
Profile data you choose to give: date of birth, gender, preferred style, colors, sizes, body measurements and budget range. All of it is optional.
Your photo, if you add one: an optional full-length picture of yourself, which may show your appearance and body shape. It is stored privately in Google Cloud Storage, only you can see it, and we process it only on the basis of your consent, which you give by uploading it. You can delete it at any time in Profile > Your photo. Today the photo is only stored for you. Before we ever send it to another service, for example to show clothes on it, we will tell you and ask for a separate consent.
Because a photo of your face and body can reveal sensitive information (for example about origin or health), we ask for your explicit consent (Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR) before you upload it. You can withdraw it at any time by deleting the photo.
Problem reports: the message you write, the kind (bug, idea or question), your account identifier, the app version, the platform and the language, and a screenshot if you attach one. The screenshot may show whatever was on your screen, so attach it only if you are comfortable with that; it is stored privately and only we can see it. We use reports only to find and fix problems and to answer you.
Wardrobe and watchlist: items you add, products you watch and your target prices.
Conversations with stylists, where this feature is available.
Notification settings and the device token used to send push notifications.
Technical data: device and browser type, app version, crash and diagnostic reports, and IP address in server logs.
We do not collect payment card data. Purchases are made on the websites of the shops.
Waitlist: if you join on the site before launch, your e-mail address, the role you chose (user, stylist or brand), the language of the page, for a brand its name and shop address, for a stylist an optional link to their profile, and the date you joined and the date of the privacy policy you agreed under.
3. Sign in with Google
If you choose "Continue with Google", Google shares with us only your name, email address and profile photo (the openid, email and profile scopes). We do not request access to your Gmail, contacts, calendar, Drive or any other Google data.
We use this data only to create and sign you in to your Le Clair account and to show your name and photo in the app. We do not sell it, use it for advertising or share it with third parties, other than the service providers listed below that run Le Clair for us. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
You can delete your account in the app at any time, which removes this data from Le Clair. You can also revoke access for Le Clair in your Google Account settings.
Signing in works through the Google libraries (Firebase Authentication and Google sign-in) that the app loads from the Google servers when it opens. Google may store its own cookies or similar data on your device for them, under its own policies and independently of the usage statistics described below. We do not control or read them.
4. Usage statistics (analytics)
Only if you agree (a prompt on first use, and a switch in Settings you can change at any time), we use Google Analytics for Firebase to count which screens and features are used: for example which screens are opened, whether the sign-up and the profile steps get completed, and whether a product is saved or a shop link is opened. Until you agree, nothing is collected.
Analytics stores an identifier on your device and receives your device and app information, an approximate location derived from your IP address and these events. It does not receive your name, email address, measurements, budget or the content of your profile, and we do not use it for advertising.
The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; the storage on your device also needs it under the ePrivacy rules). You can withdraw it at any time in Settings. The provider is Google (Google Ireland Limited, with transfers outside the EEA based on standard contractual clauses); event data is kept for 14 months and then deleted.
5. Voluntary data and your consent
Giving us profile data is voluntary. You can use Le Clair without it, but personalisation and some features will then work less well or not at all.
Date of birth, body measurements and the exact budget are more personal. We use them only for the purpose you give them for (for example to confirm you are 18 or over, or to suggest sizes) and process them on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Stylists never see your date of birth, measurements or exact budget; at most they see a budget range.
Please do not enter data about other people, or data that is not needed (for example health information or ID numbers) in notes and free-text fields. You are responsible for what you enter.
6. Working with a stylist
If you ask a stylist to work with you, we process your request, the conversation (messages and the pieces and outfits you or the stylist put in it), the stylist's proposals and verdicts, and your choices about what the stylist may see. We do this to provide the feature you ask for (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
You decide what the stylist sees: your shared profile (gender, styles, colours, sizes, budget range), your wardrobe and outfits, and whether they may only look, mark outfits, or also change them. You can change this, pause or end the collaboration at any time, and the stylist's access stops at once. Your date of birth, body measurements, exact budget, price alerts, notifications and device data are never shared with a stylist.
The stylist is an independent professional and becomes a recipient of the data you share while the collaboration is active. Their private notes about you are stored in the collaboration and are deleted when you delete the conversation. Photos you share stay reachable by the link they were shown with, so share your wardrobe only with a stylist you trust.
We notify you when a stylist writes to you, answers your request, proposes an outfit, or adds, changes or marks one of your outfits. You can switch these notifications off in Settings > Notifications.
Conversations are kept until you delete them (conversation menu > Delete conversation) or delete your account, which also deletes your conversations, proposals and the stylist's notes about you.
Video calls are in beta and there is no live video connection yet. When we add one we will update this policy and ask for camera and microphone permission only when you start a call.
Please do not send sensitive data (for example health information or ID numbers) in messages. Pictures in conversations are loaded only from the app's own storage.
You can send pictures in a conversation. They are stored in a folder that only the two of you can read and are deleted with the conversation. After working with a stylist you can leave a review (stars and a few words); it is public with your first name and you can change or withdraw it. We measure how fast a stylist answers from the time between messages, without reading them.
We do not read conversations. Access to them is limited by the database rules and to the people who administer the service, and is used only when a report requires it. If you report one, the last messages go with your report so we can see what happened, and we use them only to handle the report. A stylist can block a client, who then cannot ask them again.
7. Notifications by e-mail and push
We tell you about what you asked for: an answer or a message from a stylist, a proposal, a change to one of your outfits, a price that reached your target. In the app this always appears in your inbox (the bell).
Push notifications are sent only if you switch them on in Settings > Notifications, which is when your device asks for permission. We store the address of your device (a token) and send the notification through Google Firebase Cloud Messaging. You can switch push off at any time, and the device is removed when you sign out.
E-mail is sent only to an address you have verified, only for something that is still unread in the app after a short wait, at most three a day, and you can switch it off in the same place. We send it through our domain and mailbox provider (home.pl, Poland), whose mail server receives your address and the text of the message to deliver it. The legal basis is providing the service you use (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR); a newsletter is a separate choice that you give your consent for.
8. Why we use it and on what basis
To create and run your account and the features you use, including personalised recommendations and price alerts based on the profile you provide (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, performance of a contract).
To send push notifications and other optional messages, only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time in the notification settings.
To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and improve it, and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interests).
To meet legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
Personalisation uses the data you provide. We do not make decisions that produce legal effects about you by automated means. Recommendations are suggestions only, may be inaccurate, and you decide what to do with them.
To write to you about the launch of Le Clair and, if you joined as a stylist or a brand, about working together (including sending a stylist an invitation link with a code for a stylist account), only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give by joining the waitlist. You can withdraw it at any time by writing to support@leclair.pl; we then delete your entry.
9. Shops and affiliate links
When you open a product, you are taken to the website of an independent shop. Some links may be affiliate links, provided through an affiliate network such as Awin.
The network and the shop may set cookies and learn that you came from Le Clair and whether you made a purchase, so that a commission can be assigned to us. We do not receive your payment or delivery details.
The shop is a separate controller of the data you give it. Please read its privacy policy.
We do not control shops, affiliate networks or other third-party websites, and we are not responsible for their content, security, cookies or how they process your data.
10. Who receives your data
Service providers acting on our behalf, in particular Google (Firebase and Google Cloud: authentication, database, hosting, messaging and crash reporting).
Stylists you choose to contact, limited to the data you share with them or allow them to see.
Affiliate networks and shops, as described above.
Public authorities, when the law requires it.
We do not sell your personal data.
11. Transfers outside the EEA
Our providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. In that case we rely on safeguards such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.
12. How long we keep data
We keep your data while your account is active. Your photo is deleted at once when you delete it in the app. After you delete your account we delete or anonymise your data, including the photo, without undue delay, except for data we must keep by law or in backups until they expire.
Problem reports are deleted automatically 90 days after they were last handled. A report marked as fixed is deleted after 14 days, and its screenshot straight away; a screenshot is in any case deleted after at most 90 days.
We keep waitlist entries until we have written to you about the launch or about working together, and no longer than 12 months after you joined, unless you withdraw your consent earlier; we then delete the entry without undue delay.
13. Your rights
You have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict its processing, receive it in a portable format, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent.
You can change your profile data and delete your account in the app settings, or contact us at support@leclair.pl.
You can lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. In Poland this is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO, uodo.gov.pl).
14. Cookies and local storage
On the web we use technical storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. After you leave Le Clair, shops and affiliate networks may set their own cookies.
15. Children
Le Clair is intended for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly process data of children.
16. Security
We protect data with encryption in transit and access controls. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Keep your sign-in details safe: we are not responsible for access gained because you disclosed them or did not protect your device.
If a personal data breach is likely to result in a risk to you, we will notify the supervisory authority and, where the law requires it, you.
17. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date of the latest change is shown at the top. We will inform you about significant changes in the app.
Polityka prywatności
Ostatnia aktualizacja: 2026-10-19
1. Kim jesteśmy
Dominik Wawrzonek, Krakowska 57B/9, 36-100 Kolbuszowa, Poland, NIP 8141694492 („Le Clair”, „my”) jest administratorem danych osobowych przetwarzanych w aplikacji i na stronie Le Clair.
Kontakt: support@leclair.pl.
2. Jakie dane przetwarzamy
9 ust. 2 lit. a RODO). Możesz ją wycofać w każdej chwili, usuwając zdjęcie.
Zgłoszenia problemów: treść wiadomości, rodzaj (błąd, pomysł lub pytanie), identyfikator konta, wersja aplikacji, platforma i język oraz zrzut ekranu, jeśli go dołączysz. Zrzut może pokazywać wszystko, co było na ekranie, więc dołącz go tylko wtedy, gdy to Ci odpowiada; jest przechowywany prywatnie i widzimy go tylko my. Zgłoszeń używamy wyłącznie do znajdowania i naprawiania problemów oraz do odpowiedzi.
Szafa i lista obserwowanych: dodane rzeczy, obserwowane produkty i ceny docelowe.
Ustawienia powiadomień i token urządzenia używany do wysyłania powiadomień push.
3. Logowanie przez Google
Jeśli wybierzesz „Kontynuuj z Google”, Google przekazuje nam tylko twoje imię i nazwisko, adres e-mail i zdjęcie profilowe (zakresy openid, email i profile).
6 ust.
5. Dobrowolność danych i twoja zgoda
6 ust. 1 lit. a RODO).
Gdy je dodamy, zaktualizujemy tę politykę i poprosimy o dostęp do kamery i mikrofonu dopiero w chwili rozpoczęcia rozmowy.
7. Powiadomienia e-mail i push
Wysyłamy go przez dostawcę domeny i poczty (home.pl, Polska), którego serwer pocztowy otrzymuje Twój adres i treść wiadomości, żeby ją dostarczyć. Podstawą jest świadczenie usługi, z której korzystasz (art. 6 ust.
6 ust. 1 lit. a RODO).
6 ust. 1 lit. a RODO), którą wyrażasz zapisem na listę oczekujących. Możesz ją wycofać w każdej chwili, pisząc na support@leclair.pl; wtedy usuniemy twój wpis.
9. Sklepy i linki afiliacyjne
10. Komu przekazujemy dane
Dostawcom usług działającym na nasze zlecenie, w szczególności Google (Firebase i Google Cloud: uwierzytelnianie, baza danych, hosting, wiadomości i raporty o błędach).
13. Twoje prawa
Masz prawo dostępu do danych, ich sprostowania, usunięcia, ograniczenia przetwarzania, przenoszenia, sprzeciwu wobec przetwarzania opartego na prawnie uzasadnionym interesie oraz wycofania zgody.
Dane profilu możesz zmienić, a konto usunąć w ustawieniach aplikacji, albo napisać do nas: support@leclair.pl.
Możesz złożyć skargę do organu nadzorczego. W Polsce jest to Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych (UODO, uodo.gov.pl).
14. Cookies i pamięć lokalna
W wersji webowej używamy pamięci technicznej, aby utrzymać logowanie i zapamiętać ustawienia. Po opuszczeniu Le Clair sklepy i sieci afiliacyjne mogą ustawiać własne pliki cookie.
16. Bezpieczeństwo
Chronimy dane szyfrowaniem w transmisji i kontrolą dostępu.

15. Kinder
Le Clair richtet sich an Personen ab 18 Jahren. Wir verarbeiten wissentlich keine Daten von Kindern.
16. Sicherheit
9.2.a RGPD).
6.1.a RGPD).
6.1.a RGPD).
No vendemos tus datos personales.
12. Cuánto tiempo conservamos los datos
Conservamos tus datos mientras tu cuenta esté activa.
Puoi eliminarla in qualsiasi momento in Profilo > La tua foto.
9, par. 2, lett. a GDPR).
Puoi revocarlo in qualsiasi momento nelle Impostazioni.
6, par. 1, lett. a GDPR).
Puoi disattivare questi avvisi in Impostazioni > Notifiche.
6, par. 1, lett. a GDPR).
6, par. 1, lett. f GDPR, i nostri legittimi interessi).
Per adempiere a obblighi di legge (art. 6, par. 1, lett. c GDPR).
10. Chi riceve i tuoi dati
11. Trasferimenti fuori dallo SEE
13. I tuoi diritti
17. Modifiche a questa informativa
Possiamo aggiornare questa informativa. La data dell'ultima modifica è indicata in alto. Ti informeremo nell'app delle modifiche importanti.
